WES Students... or Detectives?
Westfall Elementary students have been puzzling out these clues to figure out these Masked Readers!
Remember, you can only discover the true identities of these Masked Readers at Character Quest.
Character Quest will be held at the Elementary on Wednesday, 1/24/24, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.

You've all heard of 'The Masked Singer,' the singing show that asks: "Who is behind the mask?" Well, now, Westfall Elementary has 'The Masked Reader'!
Teachers and staff donned masks (and voice filters) while reading their favorite books. Our students are having some fun guessing who is behind the mask!

REMINDER: Westfall Local Schools will have a 2-hour early release for students on Wednesday, December 20, to kick off winter break!
Students will be released at the following times:
High School: 12:30 PM
Middle School: 12:30 PM
Elementary School: 1:30 PM
Classes will not be in session for students from December 21 through January 3 to celebrate the holidays. Classes resume on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Students in Mrs. Woods' second-grade class got in the holiday spirit by whipping up some delicious Reindeer Chow!
To make your own batch over winter break, follow the recipe below:

Cheerio & Huzzah! Did you know that December 16 was the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party? On Friday, Mrs. Eitel's fourth-graders commemorated this historic moment with a day full of fun activities and STEM challenges, along with a spot of tea and biscuits!

Our fifth-graders have been studying financial literacy for their annual trip to JA Biztown, a simulated town, allowing students the opportunity to work at businesses like State Farm, Donatos, and The Blue Jackets, earning a paycheck and budgeting their income. They loved it!

WES recently partnered with the American Red Cross to provide joy and comfort to local nursing homes this holiday season. Through generous donations from our gracious community, our students and staff stuffed several stockings and delivered them to seniors throughout the county.

Mrs. Wippel's second-graders invited special guests to their museum-style presentations of the research they have been conducting on various topics, from volleyball to deer to puppy dogs and whales. They did a great job!

UPDATE: The phone lines at Westfall Local School District are back up and running. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

It’s, it’s, it’s... the GRINCH!!! We spotted a lot of Grinches this Monday morning for Grinch/Green Day, but it didn't dampen our holiday spirit!
